Disha meaning Direction is structured to help students of Government High Schools of Assam to create awareness about the diversity of careers and developing skills of accessing information of relevance.
The main objectives of the program are –
- Create awareness about the diversity of careers and developing the skills of accessing information of relevance.
- Building awareness of the opportunities open to them.
- Decision Making Skills.
In partnership with the Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission, Government of Assam, Adhyaya has been undertaking career counselling and guidance sessions in Government Schools of Barpeta, Bajali, Kamrup and Majuli districts since May 2022. Till date Disha sessions has reached out to 5000+ students from Class VIII onwards.
